Utopia Candle Baobab, the Utopia scented candle is made from hand-crafted ceramics engraved with aboriginal symbols in the material. The matte light turquoise glaze is dotted with random vertical lines. Utopia is a community located 250 km from Alice Springs and run mainly by women. Known for their batik designs, artists with very particular styles are emerging.
The quality of our scented candles involves a specific burning ritual. Each time the candle is burnt, it is important to wait until the entire surface liquefies before extinguishing the candle. This will prevent the formation of craters which are unattractive and make burning more difficult. The first time you light your candle, it will always burn for longer than on subsequent occasions. Allow time for the first layer of wax to liquefy completely.
